Industry: EdTech + B2C

Role: Product Developer

Region Infinity is an educational mobile application designed for JEE Advanced aspirants, focused on enhancing concept clarity and critical thinking through visual-first learning.

About - What's the Problem?

Students have access to abundant study material, but they struggle with conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and long-term retention. Most learning platforms emphasize rote memorization or one-way content delivery, leaving students unable to apply concepts in problem-solving scenarios. Complex topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics often remain abstract without proper visualization, causing frustration and gaps in understanding.

Job to be done Statement

"When I am preparing for JEE Advanced, I want a way to clearly understand and retain complex concepts through visual and interactive learning, so that I can strengthen my critical thinking, solve problems with confidence, and improve my chances of success in the exam.”

Competitor Analysis

Aarav Agrawal | Class 12, Visual Learning

Aarav is a 17-year-old boy in Class 12, studying in Kota while balancing schoolwork and coaching classes. His dream is to clear JEE Advanced and secure a seat at IIT. Despite his efforts, Aarav struggles with abstract concepts in Physics and Chemistry, often finding it difficult to retain information. The piles of PDFs, coaching notes, and video lectures only add to his confusion. Aarav needs a structured platform that simplifies concepts visually and gives him well-organized assessments to track his progress effectively.

Kunal Verma | Dropper, Second Attempt, Practice Driven

Kunal is an 18-year-old student who decided to take a drop year after Class 12 to focus entirely on JEE preparation. Having already been through coaching once, he is familiar with the syllabus but struggles with speed, accuracy, and maintaining motivation. Most of his days are spent revising alone, and the lack of peer discussions often makes preparation feel isolating. He is looking for a collaborative learning environment where he can interact with other aspirants, take practice tests, and strengthen his problem-solving skills through critical thinking modules.

Meera DeshMukh | B.Sc. Mathematics, Visual Learning

Meera is a 19-year-old first-year B.Sc. Mathematics student who is not preparing for JEE but has a strong passion for solving mathematical problems and exploring advanced concepts. She aspires to pursue higher studies in mathematics and enjoys logical reasoning challenges. However, she finds that most traditional resources are text-heavy and lack engaging visual explanations, which makes learning difficult. Meera is seeking an app that offers interactive tools to help her strengthen her analytical thinking and deepen her love for mathematics.

Assessment

Creating a Concept Node

Visual Mapping of concepts, and creating a mind map to strengthen Critical thinking.

Concept Node

Technical Architecture

  • Flutter over React Native, Swift, or Java offers true cross-platform development, faster UI with widgets, and single codebase efficiency.
  • Node.js over Django, Spring Boot, or Rails → non-blocking, event-driven model ideal for real-time scalable APIs.
  • AWS over traditional hosting → scalable infrastructure, high availability, and strong security for production-ready deployment.
  • Redis over traditional database queries → in-memory caching for faster response and smoother experience.

Impact Analysis

  • MongoDB over SQL databases → document-based structure, better for unstructured learning data like notes and assessments.
  • Twilio over custom OTP solutions → secure, reliable, globally tested authentication service.
